When did this start happening?

Has anything changed with your computer or your user account?
Steps to isolate: Verify the error message is the exact same as listed in this article.
Steps to resolve:
1: Remotely connect to the computer displaying the error message
2: Click on Start or use the Run command to open regedit
3: Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftMSLicensing
4: Right mouse click the folder in the left pane named MSLicensing and left mouse click export
5: Save the exported file to the desktop
6: Once saved right mouse click again on MSLicensing folder in the left pane and delete it
7: Close regedit
8: Right mouse click on Remote Desktop Connection icon and left mouse click on Run as Administrator
9: Once the servers login screen appears close the session and try again with only opening Remote Desktop Connection normally.
10: This will now have created a new MSLicensing folder in regedit with the new licensing information.
